CATALOGUE NOTE
Decorated with alternating panels of engravings on a matted ground, is raised on a foot in similar outline. The detachable high-domed cover with urn-shaped finial is pierced and engraved with trelliswork. The foot rim bears the initials ‘AVH‘. Fully marked at the reverse of the body. For a teapot and a chocolate pot by the same anonymous master, who could not be identified yet, see the associated literature.
